Unfortunately the earth was cursed along with Adam and Eve. Once Christ comes back, He will set all things right. Heaven will come up down to earth, and nosotros will all live for eternity here, on a fully redeemed and restored planet. Still, until then, natural disasters will however occur. Flooding, tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes, solar flares, droughts, heatwaves - they're all connected to the autumn. What God promised was to not blot out the entire planet with a alluvion that would destroy all living things as He did with Noah.
